Why now?
Life has a nasty way of pulling us up short if we are not headed in the right direction, whether it be a health scare, gloom and depression, a faltering relationship, a filthy temper, a lost job, grief, unsupportable stress, keeping numb, drinking too much or any and all of the other curve balls life throws at us.

I am a coach who loves working with people who have had enough and are approaching the end of their tether. When your back is against the wall it puts you in a place where anything is possible.
The difficult bit is admitting it’s time for change, which is where the gift of desperation comes in as it opens you up to possibilities, but after that working with me quickly becomes engaging, energising and, dare I say, even fun!
A fundamental principle of coaching is that we already have and know all we need to have the life we want.
About Me
My belief in the power of coaching has grown out of my own experience of what works. We don’t get given a manual for how to enjoy our lives so we have to work it out for ourselves.

In my own search for how to have a better time being human I have really valued having an ally alongside as I got to know myself and what I valued, as I learnt to find a solid ground from which to live. And that is what a coach is, an ally, entirely focused on us, who walks alongside us, coaxing and probing and supporting while we learn that we really do have all we need inside ourselves already and always have, so that we can live our lives in a way that works best for us.
It’s well worth doing. And can actually be fun!
The value of coaching
We learn to drive a car but we are rarely or never taught to drive ourselves, meaning we often break our own personal highway code, shooting red lights, going above the speed limit, getting into trouble.
Think Speed Awareness Course.

Coaching enables us to get beyond crunching the gears and the Theory test so we can respond flexibly and appropriately to whatever the road presents us with, and in a way that works best for us.
